Rose-colored monoclinic crystal, relative density 2.01, melting point 58℃, readily soluble in water, soluble in alcohol, insoluble in ether. It has hygroscopicity and is prone to deliquescence. At 106℃, it loses one molecule of crystalline water, and at 198℃, it loses all crystalline water to form an anhydrous substance.

Product Application

It is used as a raw material for organic chlorination catalysts, paint drying accelerators and gasoline shock absorbers.

It is used in the manufacture of feed additives, analytical reagents, dyes and pigments. Magnesium alloy and aluminum alloy smelting, production of brown-black bricks and tiles, as well as pharmaceutical and dry battery manufacturing.

It is also used as a trace element fertilizer in agriculture.
