Product Description

Acrylamide (AM) is a byproduct of the "Maillard reaction" in food. The stronger the flavor, the higher the yield of acrylamide. Acrylamide is an unsaturated amide with a melting point of 84.5°C and a boiling point of 125°C. It is a white crystalline solid at room temperature and pressure and is not easy to volatilize. It is easily soluble in water and easily polymerized at temperatures above 84.5°C or under the action of light and oxidants. Acrylamide is the most important and simplest type of acrylamide. It can be used as a raw material for organic synthesis and polymer materials, and is mainly used in the production of polyacrylamide.
