Perchloroethylene/PCE, also known as perc,PCE, is a colorless,nonflammable liquid solvent with a sweet, ether-like odor. It is primarily used in industrial settings and also for dry-cleaning fabrics and degreasing metals.

1. Tetrachloroethylene Can be used as metal degreasing solvent, also used as intestinal insect repellent.

2. Pce can be used as fat extraction fire extinguisher and smoke screen agent, and can also be used for synthesis of trichloroethylene and fluorinated organic compounds.
